Aaron Badolato moved from Denver to Glenwood Springs to pursue pastry and opened the shop with his wife Anne in 2012; the family, including their daughters, still runs it. Everything is hand-crafted with nothing automated, and the shop landed at No. 7 on Yelp's Top 100 U.S. donut shops in 2022 and No. 19 (first in Colorado) in 2025. It has since added shops in Rifle, Eagle and, in November 2024, Grand Junction.
