Blinkie's had been a Woodland Hills fixture for decades when Teresa Ngo and her father Hugh Ngo bought the run-down shop in 2003 and remodeled it. Teresa's family, Cambodian refugees who immigrated right after the genocide, has run donut shops since the 1980s, and her uncle is Ted 'Donut King' Ngoy. Hugh makes the donuts, and under Teresa the menu has grown from classic glazed rings to flavors like Thai tea with toasted coconut.
Owned by Teresa Ngo and her father Hugh Ngo since 2003, per Ventura Blvd magazine; CBS News identifies Teresa Ngo as owner.
