The Gauba family, who immigrated from Pakistan, baked doughnuts for gas stations across New Mexico before opening the first Donut Mart in 2010. Founder Razzak Gauba and son Tahir have stepped back; Haroon and Qurat Gauba now run it, and daughter Mahnoor led a 2025 rebrand to Donut Mart Café starting with a new Holly Ave. store.
