Charles and Myra Adams began frying doughnuts in a Conway Street garage in the 1940s and opened the Federal Street shop in 1956; the family ran it until 1989. After several owners and a 2020 pandemic closure, Sabra Billings revived it, then sold in August 2024 to Sereyvith 'David' Mon and Kosal Chum, who opened a second shop in Ayer in January 2026.
