The Walker family bought and renamed a donut shop in Punxsutawney as Scotty's Donuts in 1990. Owner Scott "Scotty" Walker opened the current shop, a renovated former rental house on South Brady Street in DuBois, in August 1999, and has declined offers to expand. He starts baking around midnight and turns out roughly 150 dozen donuts a day.
