Pekin's longtime Spudnuts shop was bought in 2021 by Jacqueline Butler with her parents (co-owner Rick Butler) and husband Boomer Grigsby when the prior owners retired; it was renamed Tadoughs while keeping the same recipe. A second shop opened on North University Street in Peoria.
Family owned by the Butler/Grigsby family; Rick Butler is co-owner and president.
