Jesse and Elly Eisenhour started Sugar Creek Donuts in June 2023, baking from a shared kitchen at Junction Cafe in Columbia City after Elly developed a recipe while looking for alternatives for their children; they sold at farmers markets before opening their Columbia City storefront. A second shop opened on Crescent Avenue in Fort Wayne in July 2026.
