Stan and Nyla Wilson, bakers with about 30 years in the trade, ran East Vancouver's first European-style bakery cafe in Fisher's Landing from 2001 before opening dot donuts on SE 164th Avenue in September 2008. The shop built its reputation on a simple rule, fresh doughnuts fully stocked every morning, and closes when they run out.
