Jason Carlson started making donuts at home in Fairbanks in 2016 after losing his job, having learned the trade at a Buffalo, New York shop, and ran a Fairbanks-area store for six years before moving the business to Eagle River with his wife Andreea Koski and their adult children in 2023. The hand-cut, New York-style donuts are sold until gone, and the case routinely empties within a few hours of the 5 a.m. opening. The shop finished second in a 2025 national best-donut-shop bracket.
