Family-owned Heirloom Donuts was founded by Justin and Laura Gibson and opened in 2019 in a renovated antique shop on Highway 54 in east Coweta County; after a fire destroyed that original location in September 2022, the business reopened in early 2023 and now operates storefronts in Peachtree City, LaGrange and Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
