The last survivor of a small Donut Hole chain that once had five shops, and the only one built as a pair of 26-foot fiberglass donuts you drive through. Designed by John Tindall, Ed McCreany and Jesse Hood, the La Puente shop has been in continuous operation as a donut shop since it opened, most often dated to 1968.
Open since 1968
Independent single shop (the original chain is long gone); the name of the current owner could not be confirmed from an acceptable source.

Worth the drive for the building
You drive straight through two enormous donuts, roughly 26 feet across, to reach the order window in the small building between them. Unlike the rooftop-sign shops, here the building itself is the donut.
