Owner Vanny Leas opened the shop in May 2018 in a hot-pink building covered in painted donuts on Central Avenue, after running a Daylight Donuts franchise elsewhere in Cheyenne for four years. It is listed by the city's tourism office as Galaxy Donut Shop on Central, and Food & Wine has named it the best donut shop in Wyoming.
