Founded in 1929 by Joe Schaeffener, who renamed the bakery from Sure Good to Eet Gud. His granddaughter Donna Gorish ran it from the late 1980s until January 2018, when Tracey Destribats and Mike Knowles bought it and kept the cream donut recipe.
