A Burlington institution since the early 1940s (the shop says 1940; Our State reports it began as Phil's Bakery in 1942 and was renamed by Paul Converse Sr. in 1968). Derek and Beth Spencer bought it in 2002; it has since passed to Al and Shirley Cimino.
