A small independent bakery on Hayden Road opened around 2016 by Daniel Tes, holding its own against the regional chains that dominate Arizona and landing on Phoenix-area best-of lists for its creme brulee, mochi and 'Classy, Fancy and Schmancy' donuts without expanding. When a slow summer left it unable to make payroll in July 2026, Tes asked for help on social media and customers packed the shop the next day.
