Richard and Florence Jones founded the bakery in 1923 on Terrill Street in Rutland. It later passed to Allan Foy and Jean Maroney in the 1960s and to Charlie and Jeannie Moscatello in 1989, and moved to the corner of West and Nichols streets in 1996. Lynn and Walter Manney owned it from 2013 and marked its 100th year in 2023. In January 2026 brothers Gabe and Chris Turiello and Maike Munden bought the building and business, keeping the original doughnut recipes.
