Chad and Katie Jankoviak opened Divine Dough Co. in Edwardsburg after Chad left a ten-year career in mortgage lending; the couple worked out their recipes by practicing and learning at a friend's bakery, pairing his business background with her restaurant experience, and describe the shop as faith-driven and built on handmade doughnuts from fresh ingredients (South Bend Tribune, Ed Semmler, May 2024). About a year after opening they added a satellite shop on N Ironwood Drive in South Bend, which has since closed; the Edwardsburg store remains open.
