Country Donutz opened on June 30, 2017 on Jake Alexander Boulevard in Salisbury. Owner Reggie Earl had run a doughnut business in Los Angeles for more than 15 years before moving to North Carolina, and he brought the L.A. tradition of pink doughnut boxes with him; his nephew Lang Leng managed the shop, which makes its doughnuts from scratch each day.
