Founded in 1931 in Ossian, south of Fort Wayne, and run for decades by the four Heyerly brothers (Ron, Lynn, Stan and Galen). Wells County natives Gary and Kelly Short bought the bakery in 2019 with the original family recipes, pledging that nothing would change with the donuts and rolls.
