Founded in 1956 by Greek immigrant John S. Poulos, a former dishwasher who bought a closed bakery on Raeford Road; the shop moved to Hope Mills Road in 1971 and is Fayetteville's oldest bakery, now run by his son Nick (Nicko) Poulos.
