Jeff Poleon and Matt Quinn, who met working at vegan Blackbird Pizzeria, started Dottie's in 2014 as a wholesale supplier to Philadelphia coffee shops, then opened their first shop on Springfield Avenue in West Philly in 2016, followed by Queen Village (2017), Roxborough/Wissahickon (2022) and Fishtown (2023).
