Tom's Donuts

Known for: Fresh glazed donuts by the dozen at the Lake James shop that set a Guinness World Record by selling 8,558 donuts in eight hours in 2022, earning the 'Donut Capital of the World' title.

Founded in 1970 on Lake James in Angola by Tom Saylor, a legendary Hudson High School football coach who ran the shop every summer. Saylor died in September 2025 at 83; his sons Shane and Todd Saylor now run the two Angola locations.
