Faith Ko, who immigrated from Seoul in 1984, opened Sara's Donut Story in Flower Mound around 2010 and runs it with her husband Sung and their children. Her daughter Grace helped shape the shop's creative direction until her death in 2021 at 21; the family has since redesigned the store every few years around the visions the two shared.
