Donut Palace has served Ellisville since the 1990s. Ann and Steve bought the shop in 2018, a former high school teacher and a former sandwich-franchise operator, and kept it going through the pandemic with help from the Barstool Fund. In March 2024 they opened a second shop on South Lindbergh in Sunset Hills, with a larger production kitchen that supplies both stores.
