Owner Vandy Kong, who came to the U.S. from Cambodia after losing much of his family in the Killing Fields, previously ran a Daylight Donuts and Tai Food Express before opening Wright's Donuts on West Gore. His wife Kim Nouve and son Vanda work in the shop; a second Lawton location opened in January 2020.
