The shop's longtime doughnut maker, known as Dandy, took over the business from a friend around 1991, moved it from Peachtree Industrial Boulevard to Chamblee-Dunwoody Road and joined it with the Sub-Base sandwich counter. New owners bought the shop around 2024 and kept the original recipes.
