The El Dorado Spudnut Shoppe is a survivor of the national Spudnut potato-flour doughnut chain that folded in 1979. Nicolas and Francisca Gonzalez have owned it since 2008; Francisca worked there for roughly 20 years before the purchase. It is the last Spudnut shop operating in Arkansas.
Gonzalez family since 2008 (Arkansas Living, Jan 2026). Tie Dye Travels gives a 1949 opening; not corroborated elsewhere, so founded_year left null.
