Malverino 'Mal' Rizzo's single shop on Central Street has been a downtown Franklin fixture for roughly 40 years, opening at 3 a.m. and usually selling out of its homemade donuts by mid-morning. When the city's heritage commission questioned its window decals in 2024, dozens of residents turned out to defend it.
Owned by Malverino 'Mal' Rizzo, with his son working in the shop, per the Concord Monitor, Laconia Daily Sun and Business NH Magazine (Sept. 2024).
