Mighty-O Donuts was started in May 2000 by Ryan Kellner, who began selling at a University District street fair before opening a Wallingford/Green Lake cafe in 2003. The company makes organic, non-GMO, vegan doughnuts and grew to several Seattle-area cafes including Ballard (2015/2022 relocation), Capitol Hill, downtown Seattle and Tukwila. In December 2024 Capitol Hill Seattle News reported the company faced bankruptcy, and the Capitol Hill shop closed in September 2025.
