Honeydip Donuts has operated on Milwaukee's south side since 1974 and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2024. Current owners Apexa and Vijay Patel, who immigrated from India and both began their careers at the shop, have owned it since 2001. The shop at 805 S. Layton Blvd. in the Mitchell Park Shopping Center makes more than 35 kinds of doughnuts from scratch.
