Husband-and-wife owners JP (a former wedding photographer) and Ryland Rainsford (a former Michelin engineer) began Scout's as a pop-up in 2022 after two years of recipe development, then opened a permanent shop at 1700 E. North St. in Greenville's Overbrook neighborhood in spring 2023. They expanded to downtown Anderson in April 2024 and later added Simpsonville and a downtown Greenville window.
