Known for: DC's first all-vegan doughnut shop: yeast and cake doughnuts in daily-changing flavors such as french toast, matcha, mango coconut and a strawberry-sprinkle 'Homer', sold from a pink storefront in Takoma.

“I love Donut Run and I'm fortunate on two fronts. First, they are about a 20-minute drive from me and they don't deliver. If they were closer, or they did, I'd be a much more frequent customer (and be facing some serious health issues). As it is, I've never gone there and not gotten a dozen donuts, usually to eat all by myself. I have a lot of favorites, expecially their fritters. But you can't go wrong with any of their selections. Just be sure to add a bag of donut holes to whatever you order.”
