Anne Rucker was a practicing attorney with a food blog when she started selling at the Kingfield Farmers Market in 2011, narrowing to doughnuts alone by her second year and building a following that sold out her brioche and cake doughnuts. The storefront opened on West 36th Street in south Minneapolis in May 2014 with a deliberately short menu of about six varieties and drip coffee.
