Opened in 1961 in a mid-century A-frame on South Fourth Street in Lafayette. Owners have included Mary Lou Graves, Keith Cochran and Brian Freed (27 years); Purdue alumnus Jeff Waldon bought it in 2017 and opened a second, larger Commerce Drive store in November 2021 without changing recipes or vendors.
