Founded in 1969 by Merieta 'GrammaRita' Altrichter, who hand-mixed dough in a small block building; the red-and-white shop on Wisconsin Street opened in 1977. Granddaughters Dee Brazell and Stacey took over in 2002 when Altrichter retired at 78, making it a multi-generation family operation.
