A Glazed & Amused drivable route

The Butler County Donut Trail

A passport, a T-shirt and a dozen independent shops in southwest Ohio.

Travel Butler County launched the Donut Trail in early 2016. The rules are simple: pick up a passport, get it stamped at every shop, and turn it in for a T-shirt.

It caught on. Ten years in, more than 42,000 completed passports have come back, out of more than 900,000 handed out, from all 50 states and 25 countries. Ohio Magazine says the county has one of the highest numbers of donut shops per capita in the Midwest.

Every stop below is independent and in our directory. Give it a weekend, or two if you're pacing yourself.

More than 42,000 passports finished, from all 50 states and 25 countries.

Get your passport

Download it from Travel Butler County, or pick one up at any shop on the trail. Oxford is optional for the T-shirt. Check hours before you go: plenty of these close by early afternoon.
