A Glazed & Amused drivable route

The Vermont Cider Donut Run

Eight orchards and farm stands, one state, a lot of cinnamon sugar.

Cider donuts belong to the orchard. The dough gets its tang from cider pressed a few feet away, and they're best warm, eaten standing up next to the fryer.

Vermont has more of these places than any other state in the directory. This route runs south to north, from Bennington to the Lake Champlain islands. It's too much for one day. Plan a weekend, and plan it for fall.
